•乔木，高达7～8m, 有时呈灌木状；树冠圆球形，较稀疏。树皮灰白色，皮孔中等密集。分枝较多，开张或披散下垂；长势旺盛。叶长圆形或近条形，长(8)10～13 cm, 宽2.5～3.5 cm, 长宽比为3.4～4;革质，叶面较平展，深绿色，略有光泽；基部楔形；先端渐尖或长渐尖，叶尖常下弯；叶缘略呈波状，全缘或中上部具疏细小锯齿；侧脉(7) 9～13对，网脉较明显。叶柄长8～11mm, 黄绿色。

Flower
•每节叶腋内具花芽2～3对；每花序有花6～7朵；着花繁密。花梗长8～11mm,基部紫红色。花白色或淡黄白色 (RHS-CC 1D～2D), 花香中等。花冠平展，盛开时排成十字形，或偶斜展、阔钟形，直径(7)9～11mm; 裂片倒卵形或近椭圆形，长约3～4 (4.5)mm, 宽约2～2.5mm; 雌蕊退化，不结实。每年开花2次，花期：9月中旬至10月中旬。
•Flower buds 2-3 pairs per node,each with 6-7 flowers; blossom dense; pedicels 8- 11 mm long, base purple red; corolla spreading or occasionally inclined, campanulate, cross in completely open, white or yellow white(RHS-CC 1D-2D), medium scented; (7)9- 11 mm diameter; corolla lobes obovate or nearly elliptic,3-4(4.5)mm×2-2.5 mm; stamens 2;pistils abortive, sterile. Blooming twice a year, first in middle September, second in middle October.

Distribution
•产湖北咸宁、武汉。江苏南京；浙江金华、义乌、宁波等地栽培。湖北咸宁一带俗名“柳 叶桂”。
•Xianning 、Wuhan,Hubei; Nanjing,Jiangsu;Jinhua 、Yiwu 、Ningbo,Zhejiang.

•该品种叶细长，花朵也较大，直径达9～11mm, 花冠平展
