　　•小乔木或大灌木，高达3～7.5 m; 树冠圆球形或阔卵形；长势旺盛。叶二型；春叶椭圆形或倒卵状椭圆形，长8～12(17)cm, 宽4～5 . 5(9)cm, 长宽比约1.9～2.1;厚革质。基部圆形；先端短渐尖至突尖；叶面平或微皱；略有光泽；全缘或顶端具锯齿；侧脉7～12对，上面下陷；叶柄长1.2～1.5cm, 黄绿色。秋叶较狭小，长圆形，有锯齿。

　　•Shrub or small tree to 3-7.5 m; crown spheroidal or broad ovoid; vigorous. Leaves 2-shaped, those in spring elliptic or obovate-elliptic,8- 12(17)cm×4-5.5(9) cm,base rounded, apex acuminate or cuspidate, adaxial flat or slight rugulose, slight lustrous; margin entire or serrate near apex, secondary veins 7- 12 pairs, graved; petioles 1.2- 1.5 cm, yellowish green; those in autumn smaller, long elliptic, margin serrate.

　　•花枝长10～15cm, 有花芽4～5节，叠生花芽1～2个，每花序有花5～6(11)朵；花量中等。花梗黄绿色，长0.7～1.4cm。花冠斜展，阔钟形，深裂，直径4～5(7)mm; 花淡黄白色或黄白色(RHS-CC 2C～4D); 花冠内侧颜色较深(RHS-CC 9C)。花冠裂片4, 倒卵形，长3～3.5mm, 宽2mm; 雄蕊2，偶3; 雌蕊完全败育。花容易落，花期长，以春季和秋季为主，秋季盛花期9月下旬至11月上旬

　　•Flower twigs 10- 15 cm long, with 4-5 nodes having flower buds; buds 1-2 pairs per node, inflorescence 5-6(11) flowers; pedicels yellowish green,0.7- 1.4 cm; corolla inclined, broad campanulate, incised, light yellow white or yellowish white (RHS-CC 2C-4D), inside color dark (RHS-CC 9C);4-5(7)mm diameter; corolla lobes 4(5),obovate,3-3.5 mm×2 mm;stamens 2(3); pistils abortive; flowers easy to fall down, blossom period long,mainly in spring and autumn, especially in late September to early November.
