•灌木，高2～4m; 树冠近圆球形，分枝细密，生长旺盛；树皮灰白色，皮孔较少。叶二型： 春叶倒卵形或倒卵状椭圆形、阔椭圆形，长6～8cm, 宽 3 ～ 4cm, 长宽比约1.9;叶面 微内折，墨绿色，光亮；基部狭楔形，下延于叶柄成翅状；先端突尖，叶尖向一边微偏；全 缘。秋叶较狭长。侧脉6～8对，网脉明显。叶柄长约8～10mm。新梢淡紫红色。

Leaves 2-shaped, those in spring obovate or obovate-elliptic or broad elliptic,6-8cm×3-4 cm, slight inflexed,dark green, lustrous; base narrow cuneate,decurrent, apex cuspidate, margin entire or nearly so;those in autumn long elliptic, ovate-elliptic or elliptic-lanceolate,8- 10 cm×3.5 cm, base rounded or broad cuneate, margin always serrate, apex acuminate, secondary veins 6-8 pairs; Petiole 8- 10 mm long;young leaves slight red.

Flower
•花芽1～2对，每花序有花5～7朵(圆锥花序中花朵可多达12朵),着花较稀疏；花梗长10～12mm, 黄绿色。花白色或淡黄白色 (RHS-CC2A～2B)。花冠斜展，径约7～8(9)mm; 花萼裂齿特别深，黄绿色；花冠裂片长倒卵形或长圆形，长约4mm, 宽约 2mm, 分裂较深；雄蕊2;雌蕊不发育或退化成叶状，不结实。除盛夏外，开花不止，以秋季为盛，秋季盛花期：9月中下旬至10月中旬。
•Flower buds 1-2 pairs,each producing 5-7 flowers,reach to 12 in panicle; pedicels 10- 12 mm, yellow green; corolla spreading, white or slight yellow white(RHS-CC 2A-2B),7-8(9)mm diameter; calyx lobes deep, yellow greenish; corolla lobes, long obovate or long elliptic, ca.4 mm×2 mm; stamens 2;pistils not develop, without fruit. Blooming all the year, but in Autumn is the main flowering season.

•产湖北武汉。江苏南京，浙江衢州、金华有栽培。

备注
Remark
•本品种与天香‘Tianxiang’ 相近，但叶圆润、厚实，花朵稍小，裂片倒卵 形或椭圆形，香味较淡。
•This variety is similar to Tianxiang' Tianxiang', but the leaves are round and thick, the flowers are slightly smaller, the lobes are oval or oval, and the fragrance is light.
