•乔木，高5～10(15)m, 树冠不规则卵形；枝条纤细，小枝色泽淡；树皮灰白色；皮孔稀疏， 扁圆形。叶片长椭圆形至椭圆状披针形，长8～12 cm, 宽2.9～4 cm; 叶面较平展或略呈“V”形， 不皱，质地中等，有光泽；叶基楔形至阔楔形；先端长渐尖，叶尖常向下反卷；叶缘先端1/3有细锯 齿；侧脉7～10对，网脉明显。叶柄黄绿色，长8～11mm。

•每节叶腋内有花芽1～2对，多为单芽；每花序有花5～7朵；着花中等或较稀疏。花梗黄绿色， 长7～12mm。 花黄白色，RHS4A～6B。 花冠斜展，直径5～6mm, 深裂；花冠裂片椭圆形，长约3mm, 宽约2mm; 雄蕊2,雌蕊完全败育。每年开花2次，花期较早，第一批盛花期9月上中旬(长沙，2002), 第二批盛花期9月下旬至10月上旬(桂林，2002)。

•产地：湖北咸宁(195 医院)、武汉(武汉植物园);广西桂林(七星公园);湖南长 沙(烈士公园)、浏阳(社港镇)。
•Origin: Hubei Xianning (195 Hospital), Wuhan (Wuhan Botanical Garden); Guilin, Guangxi (Seven Star Park); Changsha (Martyrs' Park) and Liuyang (Shegang Town) in Hunan Province.

•识别要点：该品种花朵小，直径仅5～6mm, 狭钟状，花色较深， RHS 4A～6A, 花芽多为单芽。与青山银桂‘Qingshan Yingui’比较，本品种花冠裂片椭圆形，花色深，叶 缘有锯齿。讨论：该品种湖北、湖南、广西均见栽培，长江中游其他地区可能也有。
