•小乔木，高5~6m；树冠扁球形；分枝稀疏、粗壮；长势中等。叶椭圆形或卵状椭圆形，稀倒卵状棚圆形，长9~11 cm，宽3.5~4.5cm，长宽比约2.5；叶面微呈“V”形内折；基部宽楔形或圆形；先端渐尖，叶尖平伸；全缘，稀近顶端有少量细锯齿；侧脉7~9对，网脉明显。叶柄长9~11 mm，黄绿色。

•花枝长10~15 cm，有4~5节着生花芽；每节有叠生花芽（1）2~3对；每花序有花5~7朵；着花密集。花梗长8~9mm，黄绿色，自然开展。花淡黄白色（RHS-CC 2C）。花冠斜展，钟形，直径7~8mm。裂片肥厚，倒卵圆形，长约3 mm，宽约2.5mm；雌蕊完全败育。每年开花1次，花期9月中旬至10月上旬。落花整齐。
