•小乔木或大灌木，高3～5m。 树冠圆球形；树皮暗灰色，纵裂，皮孔褐色，圆形，较密， 隆起。大枝拱垂，小枝较粗壮；长势中等。新枝黄绿色，长5～15cm, 节间长0.5～4cm。 叶椭圆形或卵状椭圆形，长9～12cm, 宽3.5～4.5(5)cm, 长宽比约2.5;叶面微凹， 有光泽；基部宽楔形；先端渐尖或短尖，叶尖明显下弯；叶缘全缘，微波状；侧脉9～12对， 网脉明显。叶柄长9～15mm, 黄绿色。新叶黄绿色或叶脉暗紫色。
•Small tree or big shrub to 3-5 m; crown spheroidal; branches suspense, branchlets stout; bark darkgrey,dehiscence,lenticels brown, orbicular, dense and raised; medium vigorous; young branches yellowgreen,5- 15 cm long,internodes 0.5-4 cm long.Leaves elliptic or ovate-elliptic,9- 12 cm×3.5-4.5(5) cm,lightly engraved, lustrous, base broad cuneate,apex acuminate or mucronate,acumen obviously bendingdown, margin entire, undulate, secondary veins 9- 12 pairs, reticulate veins obvious; Petioles 9- 15 mm long,yellow green; young leaves yellow green or veins dark purple.

Flower
•每节通常有花芽2～3对；每花序有花6～7朵，着花繁密。花梗长6～10mm, 黄 绿色。花浅黄白色至黄白色 (RHS-CC2A～4A), 香气中等。花近斜展，冠阔钟形，直径 7～10mm。 裂片椭圆形或倒卵形，长约3.5mm, 宽约2.5mm; 雌蕊完全败育。每年开花 2次，每次持续5～7天。花期9月下旬至10月中旬。
•Flower buds 2-3 pairs per node,each producing 6-7 flowers, blossom dense, medium scented;pedicels 6-10mm long,yellow green; corolla broad campanulate,nearly spreading,yellow white to yellow white(RHS-CC2A-4A),7- 10 mm diameter ;corolla lobes elliptic or obovate,about 3.5 mm×2.5 mm;stamens 2;pistil abortive.Blooming twice a year, each lasting 5-7 days, in late September to middle October.
