•小灌木，高0.5～1m, 树冠圆球形。叶面内折呈“V”形，秋叶长圆状披针形，长5～8cm, 宽1.5～2cm; 叶缘常具细锯齿；叶深墨绿色；网脉极明显。
•Small shrub,0.5- 1 m,crown spheroidal.Leaves dark green, adaxially incurred into V-form, smaller, those in autumn long elliptic-lanceolate, 5-8 cm×1.5-2 cm, margin usually serrate, reticulate veins obvious.

Flower
•每节叶腋内花芽1～2对，花序多近顶生，花序总梗长0.5～1cm; 花梗长1.2～1.5cm。 花银白色至淡黄白色 (RHS-CC1D～2D), 冬季花期的花色变化不大；花冠钟形，直径 6～8mm; 花冠裂片为4,稀有5;雌蕊完全退化，不结实。花期同大叶佛顶珠。
•Flower buds 1-2 pairs per node, inflorescence usually near to terminal, peduncles developed, 0.5- 1 cm, pedicels 1.2- 1.5 cm; corolla campanulate,silver- white to slight yellow white (RHS-CC 1D-2D),with more constance color in winter, 6-8 mm diameter; corolla lobes 4(5); pistils abortive. Blooming in the same time with 'Daye Fodingzhu’.
分布
Distribution
•原产四川成都一带，现上海、浙江、安徽、江苏、广西、山东、河南等地均有栽培， 作花篱或盆栽。在国外已有引种栽培。
•Origin in Chengdu,Sichuan. Now cultivated: Shanghai; Zhejiang; Anhui; Jiangsu; Guangxi;Shandong; Henan.
备注
Remark
•小叶佛顶珠与大叶佛顶珠的主要不同在于前者植株矮小，叶较小且狭长，花朵也小。而且在园林应用上，小叶佛顶珠更适合盆栽，而大叶佛顶珠则一般地栽，因此应将它们作为两个品种为妥。
•Similar to 'Daye Fodingzhu', but the plant of this cultivar general has grown dwarf shrub, and its leaves are smaller, so that it is, suit to plant in pots or for hedge.
